Psalm 11 — “In the Lord I Put My Trust”
“In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?”
— Psalm 11:1 (KJV)
π΅ Sing Logos – Psalm 11 (Music Video)
When the world shakes and the foundations crumble, those who trust in the Lord stand firm under His gaze of perfect love.
πΏ Devotional Reflection
Psalm 11 reminds us that trust in God is not shaken by fear or chaos. Even when the wicked seem to prevail and the very foundations of society crumble, God remains enthroned in heaven. His eyes see all, and His justice never fails. To “put our trust in the Lord” is to rest in the assurance that He is righteous, watching over His people with perfect love. We need not flee or fear — our refuge is unshakable.
π Reflection Questions
- What does it mean for you to “put your trust in the Lord” during uncertain times?
- How does the truth that “God sees all” bring you peace or conviction?
- In what area of your life is God asking you to stand firm in faith rather than flee in fear?
π Closing Prayer
Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that You are my unshakable refuge. Though the world trembles, Your throne stands forever. Teach me to rest in Your justice, to walk in righteousness, and to trust that Your eyes are upon me in love. Let my heart find peace in Your presence today and always. In Jesus Almighty name, Amen.
