Psalm 2 : The Son Reigns Forever

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
Kings of the earth take their stand, yet their plans will fade away.
They rise against the Lord, against His Anointed One,
But He who sits in heaven laughs — His kingdom will not be undone.
Chorus
You are my Son, today I have begotten You,
Ask of Me, the nations will belong to You.
Rule them with a rod of iron, reign from heaven’s throne,
For the Son reigns forever, and His glory will be known.

The Lord has set His King on Zion’s holy hill,
