Verse 1–2  
I will be glad and rejoice in Your name,  
I will sing praises to You, Most High.  

Verse 3–4  
When my enemies turn back, they fall and perish in Your sight.  
You uphold my right and cause, You sit enthroned to judge aright.  

Verse 5–6  
You rebuke the nations, destroy the wicked,  
Their names are blotted out forever.  
The enemy is finished, their cities uprooted,  
Their memory perishes forevermore.

But the Lord shall endure forever,

For You, Lord, never forsake the faithful.

For He remembers the cry of the humble,  
He does not forget their affliction.
